Onawhim's Autumn Warrior 
On July 11, 2007 Cody went to Rainbow bridge. He will be sadly missed by Dennis, and all who knew him. Sweet Dreams little man. Your laughing eyes will always be in my memory. A Tribute to a Wonderful Fur-friend: Hello all, It is with tremendous sadness and deep regret that I write to you with news of the passing of our dog Cody; a loyal friend and a Prince of his breed. He adopted me as his boy and was my greatest friend, and now he is at rest, far from pain and this veil of tears. Cody died at 5:45 p.m., today, at our home in Lakefield. He was assisted in his passing by Dr. Rosemary Barber and her assistant. Cody spent a glorious day with us, walking is his favourite woods, sunning on a wind-swept hill and eating all of his favourite foods. He was surrounded by love in his final moments when I whispered a little phrase that I have said every night of his four years with us: "Good night, old man." I personally do not know if there is a heaven, or a rainbow bridge for dogs, but I can think of no more noble a creature than a dog to live forever in the beyond. I would gladly give up any spot I might have in Paradise for my dear, sweet boy. We know this: Cody, a Shetland Sheepdog, our precious Autumn Warrior, is now in a place more fit for Princes and Kings. In our hearts we are with him all of the time, Love,
